One 500g lobster, cooked and dressed, supplied with The Magpie Cafe’s very own Thermidor Sauce, and a sachet of fresh parmesan, packaged in an oven safe, disposable tray with full instructions. Simply remove the film, add the sauce and cheese, and warm through in a hot oven to enjoy a timeless classic.

Weights are pre cooking and dressing. Please note that due to weight loss during cooking, and a large ammout of shell beng removed when the lobster is dressed, the final weight will be significantly lower than the starting weight.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, all of our lobsters are now sold under Whitby Lobster Hatchery’s “Buy one, release one” scheme. For every lobster we sell, a donation is made to the hatchery, allowing a lobster to be bred and reared in captivity, and then released into the wild to replenish stocks.

Please note that the price of lobster is significantly higher over the Christmas period; This is because the worst season for availability coincides with the busiest time for demand, and is completely beyond our control.
