Made at the Magpie Cafe, where it’s used as a topping on popular fish dishes.

A rich, sweet, caramelised red-onion chutney, with generous pieces of streaky bacon; as well as fish, it’s also great as part of a cheese plate, on burgers or hot hotdogs, or (a staff favourite) as a finishing touch to a cheesy jacket potato.
